Graduation, Hawaii, and a Birthday

We had a very busy month of May. First Colby Graduated!!! Hooray!!!

Then we went to Hawaii with Colby's family. It was so much fun! The time change was a little hard on the boys, but we all still had a great time. While we were there we went snorkeling, visited the Polynesian Culture Center, hiked Diamond Head, Colby went golfing, I got a spa day, and we did a lot of relaxing on the beach!

Our most memorable moment I think would be hiking Diamond Head with a stroller. Now if you have hiked Diamond Head before you know that that is just crazy and stupid. You are completely right. We were trying to catch up to Colby's family and didn't read the signs or anything. The trail starts out paved so we figured it would be like that for the whole way up, but then the trail gets rocky and then it gets rockier and then there is lots of stairs and more stairs. People kept looking at us like we were crazy and kept warning us of what was up a head, but instead of stopping and turning around we kept going. Colby and I didn't want to carry Jamers (aka fatty face) up the hill, so we just kept him in the stroller. Until finally when we were about 25 ft away from the stairs we parked and continued onward. From there we met Colby's family coming down the hill and they laughed and laughed at us. Thankfully they carried Jamers and the stroller back down while Colby, Corbin and I kept on going. I was proud of Corbin that he made it all the way. The whole thing was very comical.

Corbin keeps asking "when are we going to Hawaii again?" I'm wondering the same thing...

Then last but not least, Jameson turned 1! The time goes by fast, but I swear it goes by faster with the second child. We had a Cars themed birthday party for him. Corbin of course was a great big brother and helped open presents and blow out the candles. Jamers loved his birthday cake. At first he was a little unsure, but once we gave him a fork he went to town!
