Blogging with pictures is so much better...

So Colby's Mom was getting disappointed with the lack of pictures of Corbin and so she decided to give me an early Birthday present and gave me a new camera! Yeah! (Thanks Mom!) I think that posts are so much more fun with pictures, after all a picture speaks a thousand words! Here is a post using pictures like Sherry requested.

Wait a mintue.....

"What's this? Green Beans on the floor!?" Corbin has started this new thing when he eats, when he is finished with his food or doesn't like it he throws it on the floor! Even when his sippy cups are empty he throws it on the floor! What a stink! Now is the time I wish we had a dog!

I got tagged a while ago but have been dragging my feet because I am not a fan of tags, chain emails, etc. Anyway I finally decided to do it so here goes...

1. I get ready for bed in the same order every night... take out my contacts, wash my face, and brush my teeth.

2. I love rainy days, but I especailly love rainy days where I can make soup and stay in my pjs all day long.
umm...does that count as a quirk? Moving on...

3. I listen to certain cds dependin on what I'm doing and what time of year it is. For example I only listen to A Walk to Remember soundtrack in the fall, the Dawson's Creek cd when I'm drving in the mountains. Weird I know.

4. I shower in the same order every time...Shampoo my hair, wash my face, wash my body, and then condition my hair.

5. I am obessed with stupid TV shows and insist on watching every week they are new episodes.

6. I am obsessed with blogging and have to check it every morning and night! Plus I check my email too.

Walking and Talking

A few moments ago I discovered that Corbin is growing up way too fast! He has been taking steps here and there and then he will fall after a couple of steps. He also has been the biggest jibber jabber with the occasionally "mama" and "dada" but for the most part not really making any sense. Well tonight he suprised me when I was sitting on the couch and I told him go get your ball which was by the love seat. To my suprise he turned and walked straight to the ball bent over and picked it up and said, "ball". I can't believe it he is going to be walking and talking all over the place. SIGH It seems like yesterday I could just cuddle him and he would just lay there and snuggle back. Now that only happens when he is sleepy. He's growing way too fast!

I saw this on my friends blog, Andrea, and that it looked like fun so I tried it out and was pleased with the result. Everyone always says that Corbin looks just like Colby so HA! He looks like me too!

Spa Day

On Friday Colby and I decided we needed to go do something fun and relaxing, so we decided, well I decided we should go get a couple's massage at the Sanctuary Day Spa. Colby has been so busy with school and work so I feel like I never see him and plus he has been really stressed out. (This semester is one of the hardest in pharmacy school.) Anyway I thought a massage was just what we needed. Of course it wasn't easy getting I-15 was a mess due to a gravel spill and there were accidents all over the place. Well this caused us to be late so we had to reschedule, but lucky the spa had a later time. Finally, we dropped Corbin off at Grandma Sherry's and went to lunch and then headed to the spa. The massages were great! It was so relaxing. I love the calm music they played and the room had this starlight ceiling which was really cool. At the end they gave us cheesecake that was so delicious! It was an awesome day at the spa. However the day ended with Corbin pooping in the tub, which was a rude awakening that our day of fun and relaxation was over! Colby was awesome and cleaned up the mess! He is such a great Husband and Dad! Thanks for all you do!

State Fair

Today we went to the state fair and Corbin wasn't too sure about the goats. They seemed to love him though. One of them stuck out his head to get know Corbin better and Corbin stuck out his hand and the goat licked him. He did not like this, he jumped and looked up at me like "how dare he do that!"

(I didn't realize that goats had such long necks.) To make up for it my Grandma gave him some of her funnel cake and he couldn't get enough of the powdered sugar. He loved it! Corbin seemed to like the other animals, but I couldn't handle the smells and started gagging, so my Mom had to finish taking him around. Who knew sheep stunk so bad? Overall it was a nice day at the state fair. Our camera is still broken so I had to make do with my cell phone. So sorry if the pics are fuzzy.
