Here Comes Santa Claus...AHHH!

It's offical, Corbin does not like Santa Claus! Santa Claus came to our ward Christmas party and Corbin was okay at a distance, but once we sat him on Santa's lap he freaked out. Don't worry I don't think this incident will have an effect on his Christmas presents.

Happy Birthday Corbin!

I am finally getting around to posting Corbin's birhday. I can't believe he is 1 years old already! It seems like yesterday he was just a new little baby. Is is possibly to get post-partum depression at 1 year? Well, I am so happy that he is growing up and learning new things, I just wish he would cuddle with me more often. Corbin had such a good birthday, I don't think there is even a need to have Christmas. (Don't worry, Santa will be coming to our house and what Santa doesn't get him his Grandmas will!) He got a ton of toys and he loves them all. The next morning he woke up from his Birthday party he ran right to his toys to make sure they were still there. He also loved digging into his cake. He made a little mess, but I think most of it got into his mouth! Thanks to all his Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and his cousins for coming to his party in our little house!

Here's a picture of Corbin when he was a couple days old. Isn't he just the cutest?

Uncle TJ

So Colby's little brother TJ has been scared of Corbin ever since he was born. We would ask him if he wanted to hold Corbin when he was little and he would always say no or make up some excuse. My favorite excuse was "No me have homework." Even we were over visiting he would leave to go hang out at the neighbors or he would just stay downstairs, which isn't too weird for TJ, but he still didn't like to be around Corbin. Well we finally had a breakthrough! TJ held Corbin with a smile on his face! I think that as Corbin gets older TJ will realize that Corbin isn't so bad and will like playing with him more. Corbin has figured out TJ is a pretty cool guy! TJ we love you!

Happy Halloween!

Corbin was a lion for Halloween. He was so cute! We didn't even attempt trick or treating but somehow he ended up with a bucket full of candy thanks to Grandma Julie! He can't seem to get enough suckers. We stopped by to see our friends, Lori and Rory, and their kids. Eli was a penguin and Kaemon was a frog. They were so cute together! I can't wait for next year!

Mmm...Lemons

This is too funny not to post. Grandma Sherry thought it would be fun to give Corbin a lemon. Well he loved it! He would suck on it then he would pull a funny face, but then suck on it again! He is so silly!

San Diego

We went to San Diego two weeks ago with Colby's family and it was so much fun! We wore Corbin out! We flew there and he was so good on the plane! He slept half the time and loved the cookies that the flight attendents gave him.

While we were in San Diego we did everything! We went to Seaworld, the beach, and San Diego Zoo. Plus we went shopping and Colby got in a couple of rounds of golf! Corbin liked seeing the Shamu show. He would make noises when Shamu would jump out of the water. We fed the sea lions and he was scared of them at first because the were barking so loud and were pretty close to us, but once he realized that they couldn't get him he was fine and starting barking back at them. They were so funny! The San Diego zoo is so big. I love it! Corbin liked looking at the animals, but by the time we got the big animals he had fallen asleep. It will be fun to take him back when we can really appreciate it. Here are some pictures of our fun vacation...

And on a side note, Corbin is now walking and has been since San Diego!

Blogging with pictures is so much better...

So Colby's Mom was getting disappointed with the lack of pictures of Corbin and so she decided to give me an early Birthday present and gave me a new camera! Yeah! (Thanks Mom!) I think that posts are so much more fun with pictures, after all a picture speaks a thousand words! Here is a post using pictures like Sherry requested.

Corbin is so good at feeding himself!

Corbin: "Look Mom I ate all my dinner!"
Nisa: "Oh you even ate your green beans! Good job!"

Wait a mintue.....

"What's this? Green Beans on the floor!?" Corbin has started this new thing when he eats, when he is finished with his food or doesn't like it he throws it on the floor! Even when his sippy cups are empty he throws it on the floor! What a stink! Now is the time I wish we had a dog!
