What a Weirdo!

For some reason Corbin likes to wear hats and sunglasses. He'll crawl around with them on for a while and he thinks it's about the greatest thing in the world. So here is a funny pic that Colby got of him.

Splashing Around

Yesterday we took Corbin to the pool for the first time. Colby even went out and bought him a brand new baby float. Corbin loves to take bathes so I just knew he would like the pool and I was right. At first he was a little hesitant, but soon enough he started splashing around. I couldn't ever get him to look at me for very long, because he kept looking in the water, so I didn't get the best pics. He did get a little nervous when Colby was doing laps in the pool. He kind of whimpered and was like what is that thing splashing toward me! But when he realized it was just his Dad he was okay with it. I think he is going to have a fun time at Bear Lake!

The Zoo

Today Corbin had his first trip to the zoo. My friend Brittany came with her little boy Braxton. It was so much fun! (Well probably more so for us moms!) Corbin enjoyed the zoo more than I thought he would.

He really liked looking at the big animals, probably because he could actually see the animals, but I think Braxton and Corbin had more fun playing together then looking at the animals. Half way through our visit Corbin got tuckered out and took a little nap. I guess the zoo just wore him out. We are going to the San Diego Zoo in October, so this was a good warm up for Corbin!

Recipe Swap

Well I thought it would be fun to share some recipes. Here is a favorite of ours. Feel free to leave a favorite recipe of yours in the comments.

Angel Chicken
6 skinless boneless chicken breasts
1/4 c. butter
1 pkg Italian salad dressing mix
1 10oz can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. apple juice
1/2 of an 8 oz. tube chive and onion cream cheese
Hot cooked angel hair pasta
Snipped fresh chives (optional)

Place chicken in a 3-4 quart crock pot. In a medium saucepan melt the butter. Stir in the dry italian salad dressing mix. Stir in the mushroom soup, apple juice, and cream cheese until combined. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 4-5 hours. Serve chicken and sauce over hot cooked pasta. Sprinkle with chives. Makes 6 Servings.

Hope your like it! Enjoy!

Yummy!

We gave Corbin his first teething biscut and he loved it! His face was covered when he was finished with it. I can't believe how grown up he is becoming!

Park City

Last week we took Corbin on his first overnighter! We stayed up in Park City at the Marriott Moutionside. It was a lot of fun! We went shopping at the outlets and walked down main street. It was so nice to get away for a little bit. Corbin is a lot like his mom and likes to sleep in his own bed, thus he didn't sleep too well. In his defense though we noticed he had a tooth coming in and he had just gotten his 6 months immunizations, so he had a right to be a little fussy.

When we went shopping at the outlets Corbin got really spoiled and got a bunch of new clothes. Here is a picture of him in his first baseball cap.

Swing Life Away

Corbin loves to swing! He laughs everytime! We go swinging everyday that it's warm outside. At first he was't quite sure what to think of the swing and he would hold onto the sides for dear life, but now that he's used to it he just sits back and relaxes!
