Riley's Carpet Cleaner

We have been in desperate need of a carpet cleaning, so finally this morning Riley's Carpet Cleaners came to clean our carpets. I didn't realize the effect this would have on Corbin. Corbin was so amazed at the carpet cleaner! He would follow him around and I tried to keep him out of the way, but Corbin was persistent. I finally had to put Corbin in his crib while the guy cleaned his room. Corbin jabbered to him and the carpet guy was really nice and talked to him too. Corbin got upset though when he was cleaning the family room because of course Corbin wanted to be right there. So I locked Corbin and I in our bedroom so the guy could finish. This made Corbin really sad and he cried and cried. I think that Corbin has a future in the carpet cleaning business! Colby called this on-the-job training.Ü (Oh and a shout out to Riley's Carpet Cleaners they did a great job!)

Like Father, Like Son

I always thought since Corbin spends so much time with Nisa and relatively little with me that he would only pick up on Nisa's habits around the house. Well here is proof that he is my son.

I took the pictures of Corbin this morning while he was eating his morning oatmeal. He loves the instant strawberry packets. He also loves the maple and brown sugar but we try to keep from feeding him this flavor because he will smell like maple for the rest of the day (just ask his grandmas).

The picture of me was taken by Nisa while I was studying Kidney Disease (No wonder I couldn't stay awake). Those of you who know Nisa may say that she is just as likely to be stealing a nap or two around the house. So stay tuned while I find other Corbin habits that resemble me.

Corbin gets a Haircut

Corbin finally had his first offical haircut. Not that his hair was too long or anything, but it was more of a haircut in hopes of cutting it it would help it grow. Corbin grows hair on his sides and back just fine, but as for the top well it struggles (much like someone else I know). My friend Jennifer cut his hair and she did a great job! Corbin was so good he didn't wiggle or cry. He sat so still and had the most serious look on his face the whole time. It was pretty funny. He is such a cute good little boy! I love him so much!

Toys, Trains and Vaccums

Here are some pictures of Christmas. I picked out the things Corbin loves the most toys, trains and vaccums. Corbin got a lot of fun toys for Christmas!

There was a holiday train set at Grandma Sherry's that Corbin immediately went to when he got to Grandma's and he would stay in there all night to play with it.

Corbin would cheer and clap when the train went by.

And finally the vaccum. He loves it and has to help me everytime I vaccum. I think Colby would rather it be a lawn mower, but until we actually own land I don't think Corbin will be too interested in a lawn mower. Corbin will even go in search of vaccums at other people's houses. He knows exactly where to find the vaccum at Grandma Juile's. So the next time Corbin comes to your house he can give you a free vaccum check!Ü

A Wii Christmas

We got a Wii for Christmas and that has been consuming all of our time, so until we save the world in Zelda we won't have any time to post.Ü We had a great Christmas and Corbin got tons of new toys, but the hit of Christmas was a brand new shiny red...vacuum! I don't get it either, he loves vacuums! He will go stand next to the closet that has our vacuum and whine till I get it out. I will post pics soon, but I have to go work out on our new Wii Fit! Feel the Burn! LOL!

Here Comes Santa Claus...AHHH!

It's offical, Corbin does not like Santa Claus! Santa Claus came to our ward Christmas party and Corbin was okay at a distance, but once we sat him on Santa's lap he freaked out. Don't worry I don't think this incident will have an effect on his Christmas presents.

Happy Birthday Corbin!

I am finally getting around to posting Corbin's birhday. I can't believe he is 1 years old already! It seems like yesterday he was just a new little baby. Is is possibly to get post-partum depression at 1 year? Well, I am so happy that he is growing up and learning new things, I just wish he would cuddle with me more often. Corbin had such a good birthday, I don't think there is even a need to have Christmas. (Don't worry, Santa will be coming to our house and what Santa doesn't get him his Grandmas will!) He got a ton of toys and he loves them all. The next morning he woke up from his Birthday party he ran right to his toys to make sure they were still there. He also loved digging into his cake. He made a little mess, but I think most of it got into his mouth! Thanks to all his Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and his cousins for coming to his party in our little house!

Here's a picture of Corbin when he was a couple days old. Isn't he just the cutest?
